New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party has accepted government proposal to hold discussions at a neutral venue on Friday.
The meeting will take place at the Constitution Club of India, where the group is expected to raise its key demands, including the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
CJP Spokesperson Sourav Das welcomed the government’s decision, saying the organization was pleased that its request for a neutral meeting place had been accepted. He said the dialogue would focus on the concerns raised by students during the ongoing protest.
The CJP has been holding a sit-in at Jantar Mantar over the alleged NEET paper leak and wider irregularities in the examination system. The group has demanded major reforms in the education sector, greater accountability and the removal of Dharmendra Pradhan from the Union Cabinet.
