The state government has approved the recruitment of 9,662 personnel, bringing relief to candidates who have long been awaiting police recruitment. Following approval from Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Home Department has issued orders to initiate the recruitment process. The recruitment will be conducted through the Employees Selection Board (ESB), and a detailed advertisement will be released soon. The government states that this decision aims to strengthen the police force in light of the growing population, rising cybercrime, law and order challenges, and preparations for the Simhastha-2028 event.

**Orders Issued After Chief Minister's Approval**
Following the Chief Minister's approval, the Home Department has issued orders to fill 9,662 vacant posts in the police department. The recruitment process will be carried out via the Employees Selection Board (ESB). A detailed notification containing information regarding applications, eligibility criteria, and the examination will be released shortly.

**Government Focuses on Providing Employment to Youth**
Sharing details of the recruitment on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is continuously working to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth. He noted that the recruitment for 9,662 police posts has been approved and the process will begin soon.

**Strengthening the Police Force**
Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that the new recruitment would strengthen the state's law and order and security infrastructure. He mentioned that this move would aid in improving crime control, cybercrime prevention, safety for women and children, emergency services, and community policing.

**Decision Taken with Simhastha-2028 in Mind**
The government believes that a sufficient number of police personnel and officers are required to handle the upcoming Simhastha-2028, rapid urbanization, and evolving security challenges. The new recruitment will also enhance the police force's capacity to manage large events and crowd control.

**Posts to be Filled**
The approved posts include the highest number of vacancies for Constables (GD), totaling 7,500. In addition, recruitment will be conducted for the posts of 1,000 Constables (Drivers), 520 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI), 312 Sub-Inspectors (District Force), 81 Subedars, 69 Sub-Inspectors (Special Armed Force), 135 Stenographers, 22 Sub-Inspectors (Fingerprint), 10 Sub-Inspectors (Armament), 9 Sub-Inspectors (Photography), and 4 Sub-Inspectors (QD).

All details regarding application dates, age limits, educational qualifications, the examination pattern, the physical efficiency test, and the selection process will be provided in the detailed advertisement. Police Headquarters asserts that the entire recruitment process will be conducted in a transparent and time-bound manner to ensure that eligible candidates receive appointments promptly.
