Bruno Fernandes has been handed a lucrative contract offer from a Turkish club, according to a well-known insider on X.

The Manchester United captain has become the focus of increasing summer transfer talk, with clubs from across Europe testing the Red Devils’ determination to keep hold of their main creator.

As per updates posted by a prominent source on X, Bruno Fernandes has been presented with a huge contract proposal to move to Turkey.

Even though the Manchester United board and head coach Michael Carrick are still keen to keep their 31-year-old captain, who produced 9 goals and 21 assists in all competitions last season to help secure Champions League qualification, the club’s position is that they will not block him if he clearly asks to leave Old Trafford.

United are said to value the Portuguese international at about £64 million (€75m), although an overseas release clause believed to be worth £56 million (€65m) gives foreign clubs a way to try to tempt him away from the Premier League.

Current Süper Lig champions Galatasaray have now become the main force behind the Turkish interest.

Reports indicate that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk sees Fernandes as his dream signing for the central attacking midfield role.

After making strong statements in recent transfer windows by signing headline names such as Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sane, the Istanbul club are ready to offer Fernandes a net salary package of up to €15 million a year.

According to reports, Fernandes is open to the idea of a move to Istanbul, especially if Galatasaray can agree a financial deal with Manchester United over the transfer fee structure.

Turkey is not the only possible destination chasing the midfielder’s signature. Clubs in the Saudi Pro League are still keeping a close watch on Fernandes’ situation, after previously exploring the possibility with huge-money offers over the past year.

Although Fernandes has generally put top-level European football first, rich contract options from Saudi Arabia are still available.
