Producer Sammy Nanwani has come out and said that his next movie Jai Hind Jai Sindh: A Love Story will hit theatres in October 2026.
It is basically centered on love and loss while still keeping some careful light ahead.
It kinda follows the trip of people whose lives got altered by that event at the same time it shines a light on the culture and the heritage of the Sindhi community too.
Speaking about the film, Nanwani sort of said the story was inspired by the lived experiences of his family members who went through Partition.
He said their recollections of leaving their homes and then starting life anew inspired him to bring this tale onto the screen.
“Jai Hind, Jai Sindh: A Love Story is a tribute to the strength of people who rebuilt their lives after Partition,” Nanwani said.
“Through this film, we also want to celebrate Sindhi culture and share its history with a wider audience,” he added.
The makers confirmed that the movie’s promotional push will kick off soon enough and with that first look poster plus a teaser , along with the music all those should land sometime in the coming weeks.
More details about the cast and the crew, and how the distribution will happen are expected to pop up later on I suppose.
