She shared, "I tell them… I would’ve killed myself if, at the time of the Latent fiasco, if I hadn’t had Sufi." Sufi reminisced about their friendship, calling it the best year of his life, where he felt he had a supportive social circle in Bombay. "I genuinely missed you a lot," he admitted.

Apoorva further revealed that she wouldn't have coped with the IGL controversy without Sufi's support, emphasizing that he was her only companion during that challenging time. "You saved my life; I genuinely wouldn't have been able to survive Latent if it wasn't for you," she expressed.
