Flipkart Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kalyan Krishnamurthy said in an interview that the company will start testing the food delivery service in the next few weeks. Initially this service will be made available among selected users so that customer feedback can be understood. He said that the company will first assess the needs and experience of the customers. If the service receives positive response, it will be launched on a larger scale.

According to the company, the food delivery service will be available with a separate app, but it can also be accessed from Flipkart’s main app. However, the company has not yet shared official information about the branding of this service, launch date or in which cities it will be launched. According to reports, Flipkart will launch its food delivery service with government support. Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) Can be combined with. ONDC aims to make digital commerce more competitive and open, providing a level playing field for all businesses, big and small. However, Flipkart has not yet officially confirmed this integration.
India’s online food delivery market is growing rapidly. Zomato and Swiggy are currently the biggest players in this sector, but in recent months many new companies are also entering the market with different business models.
