The month of Sawan is considered the most sacred and fruitful for the worship of Lord Shiva. In the year 2026, Saavan is starting from 30th July. According to religious beliefs, by worshiping Lord Bholenath as per rituals, Jalabhishek, Rudrabhishek and chanting mantras throughout this month, the seeker attains special virtues. It is believed that when Lord Shiva is worshiped with devotion and true heart in Sawan, he becomes happy and fulfills the wishes of the devotees.

1. Rudraksh

2. Copper pot and Ganges water

3. Statue of Nandi Maharaj

4. Damru

5. Trishul
Trishul is considered the divine weapon of Lord Shiva. It symbolizes protection from negative forces and balance in life. It is considered auspicious to install a small trident in the home temple before Sawan.
6. Belpatra
Belpatra is considered one of the most favorite offerings to Lord Shiva. If possible, arrange for Belpatra leaves before the start of Saavan or locate a Bael tree near the house, so that fresh Belpatra leaves can be offered to Shivling regularly throughout the Saavan. It is believed that by offering Belpatra, Lord Shiva gets pleased quickly and fulfills the wishes of the devotees.
