For the past couple of days, after returning from the UK, Meghan Markle , Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet , have been enjoying some 'we time' away from their everyday life. The family of four was spotted in Portugal enjoying the sunny beaches together, and the photos sent everyone down memory lane to family vacations that the Duke of Sussex used to go on with his mother, Princess Diana . Along with Portugal, the family also travelled around the UK and visited Princess Diana’s childhood home in Althorp.

Markle had shared photos of the family on the beach, in which she watched over her husband and their children as they played and ran around in the water.
The family photos shared an uncanny resemblance to Princess Diana’s vacation in 1993, when she, along with Prince Harry and Prince William, who had been mere children at the time, enjoyed the waters at the island of Nevis in the Caribbean. Princess Diana was known for her down-to-earth and playful nature, and was often photographed and spotted on vacation with her family.

It was reported that during their Althorp visit, the family of four had visited Princess Diana’s final resting place. The princess was laid to rest in one of the island’s parks, specifically at the centre of an ornamental lake known as The Round Oval.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to the UK was also fruitful as King Charles and Queen Camilla met Archie and Lilibet for the first time in four years.
