When is the UPSC CMS exam?
The UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) written examination will be conducted on August 2, 2026, as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam will consist of two papers, both held during scheduled shifts. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details mentioned on the admit card before the exam.

What to carry to the exam center?
Candidates must carry the following documents to gain entry into the exam center:

Prohibited items
Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, and other electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the exam center. Action may be taken against those who violate these rules.

Arrive at the exam center early
Details regarding the exam center and reporting time are provided on the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the location of the exam center in advance and arrive at least one hour before the reporting time. UPSC closes the entry gates approximately 30 minutes before the exam begins; no candidate will be allowed entry after this time.
