Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has said that Dharmendra Pradhan will have to resign. He is a symbol of corruption, he cannot be allowed to spoil the present. Rahul Gandhi has said that the students have three demands, which are completely non-compromising. The first demand is that Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should be dismissed. He alleged that Dharmendra Pradhan is corrupt, incompetent and working in the wrong direction.

Rahul Gandhi told that there is a discussion going on in the cabinet of Modi government that Dharmendra Pradhan should be removed from the Education Ministry and sent to some other ministry. This is absolutely not acceptable to the students and the people of the country. Rahul Gandhi has said that there is no doubt that the Education Minister is corrupt.

‘It is not acceptable for Dharmendra Pradhan to be in any ministry’

Rahul Gandhi met some protesting students at ’10 Janpath’, the residence of Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi. He said, ‘There is some discussion going on in the cabinet of Modi government regarding sending Dharmendra Pradhan to some other ministry. This is not acceptable to students and should not be acceptable to anyone.

‘Students’ future is being ruined’

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘He is a symbol of wasting the most valuable thing in this country, our students and their future. Dharmendra Pradhan should be dismissed.

‘There is a demand for a case against the police’

Rahul demanded action against those responsible for the ‘attack’ on the students, saying those who carried out the incident should be punished and held accountable.

‘The youth will not move away from the protest site’

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Narendra Modi should apologize for whatever he has done to the students, and the future of this country. Youth are the future of India and no matter how much force the government uses, it cannot remove them from the protest site.
