PSG attacking midfielder Kang-in Lee (25) has officially joined Atlético de Madrid, both clubs have announced. It had earlier been reported that PSG and Atlético had reached an agreement on a €40m transfer fee for the South Korea international. The La Liga club had been searching for an attacking midfielder after the departure of club legend Antoine Griezmann. Kang-in Lee also takes over the No. 7 shirt that was left free by the former France international. He has signed a five-year contract with Los Colchoneros.

Kang-in Lee is now back in Spain after moving to PSG from Mallorca three years ago. The South Korean made 124 appearances for the Ligue 1 side, recording 16 goals and as many assists. Even though he had a part-time role under Luis Enrique, he still won two Champions Leagues, one UEFA Super Cup and one Intercontinental Cup, along with three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France trophies and two Trophée des Champions.
