New Delhi. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has tendered his resignation on Saturday amidst the agitation of Cockroach Janata Party. Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation has been accepted by President Draupadi Murmu on the advice of the Prime Minister. Following this, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has been given the additional charge of the Education Ministry along with his existing portfolios.

Let us tell you that, along with the responsibilities of his current ministries, Prahlad Joshi will also take charge of the Education Ministry. He earlier held the ministries of Food and Public Distribution, Energy and Consumer Affairs. On the other hand, after the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, many big leaders and ministers of BJP and NDA including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, former MP Ramesh Bidhuri, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh reached his house and talked to him.

Let us tell you that for several days, students across the country were protesting against Dharmendra Pradhan regarding the NEET paper leak issue. The movement had taken a big form at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Thousands of students were participating in it. On July 20, these students marched towards the Parliament on important roads of Delhi, some of which reached very close to the Parliament complex. There were continuous talks between the government and the Cockroach Janata Party. The main demand of the students was to remove Pradhan from his post. He suddenly announced his resignation on Saturday afternoon.
