Bangalore based EV manufacturer Athar has introduced their new model EL01. The scooter is likely to hit the market between July-August 2026. It may make its debut at the company’s annual Community Day. The price is expected to start from around Rs 99,000.

2. Yamaha Arx-E
Japanese 2-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha has now realized the demand of the Indian EV market. In the next few months, Yamaha will give a couple of surprises in EV. Another EV is slated to launch with the Yamaha Arx-e. The entry level model is expected to be priced around Rs 1.60 lakh. Premium models can be in the higher range around Rs 2.90 lakh.

3. TVS Jupiter Electric
TVS Motors is also making their most popular Jupiter scooter an EV version. This new model is basically a family scooter. Designed for everyday use, it will have features and plenty of storage space. The scooter is likely to be launched between September and November 2026. According to market sources, its price may be 1.10 lakhs.
