Indian Woman in Germany: Germany’s health system is counted among the best healthcare systems in the world, but the experience of an Indian woman living there has sparked a new debate on social media.
In a video shared on Instagram, the woman told that before coming to Germany, she thought that the treatment facilities here would be very fast and organized, but when her husband had an eye infection, she had to wait for about a week to meet the doctor. This experience completely changed his expectations. The video is becoming increasingly viral and people are giving their opinions on it.
Indian woman’s revelation on Germany’s healthcare
This video has been shared on Instagram with an account named @simran.with.shivam. In the video, Simran Kaul Arora tells that her husband Shivam had an eye infection. Initially he thought that he would get immediate treatment from the doctor, but that did not happen.
First he reached the emergency room, from where he was sent to another hospital, which was about an hour away from his home. There too he did not get immediate treatment and the doctor’s appointment took about a week.
The woman said that even when they reached the hospital on the scheduled date, they had to wait for a long time. He also said that despite paying heavy taxes and health insurance in Germany, he had never imagined that it would be so difficult to reach a doctor.

Another said that this video is a lesson for those who continuously criticize Indian doctors. Another user said that in a government hospital in Bihar, he consulted a doctor within 15 minutes for a registration fee of only Rs 5 and also got free medicines.
