1. After the end of CJP protest, all the closed stations of Delhi Metro opened.

All the stations of Delhi Metro, which were closed amid the ongoing protests near Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, have now been opened for the movement of common people. Delhi Police has appealed to the protesters to peacefully leave the protest site and return to their homes. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has also confirmed that all metro stations have been opened for general passengers.

2. CM Rekha Gupta gave important instructions regarding Kanwar Yatra

The Delhi government has completed extensive preparations to welcome and provide facilities to the Shiv devotee Kanwariyas who reach Delhi with Ganga water from Haridwar and other holy places in the month of Sawan. In the high-level review meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the preparations of various departments to make the Kanwar Yatra safe, easy and respectful were reviewed. In the meeting, security arrangements, traffic management, cleanliness, drinking water, medical facilities, power supply and other necessary arrangements during the Kanwar Yatra were discussed in detail.

3. Opening and closing time of liquor shops changed in Delhi

People buying liquor this weekend in the capital Delhi will have to make their purchases before the scheduled time. The Excise Department has issued instructions to reduce the operating time of liquor shops by two hours and close them by 8 pm. According to sources, this arrangement will remain in force till the end of this week. Under normal circumstances, liquor shops in Delhi remain open till 10 pm.

4. Kejriwal’s reaction on Pradhan’s resignation

Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has reacted after the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan amid 34 days of protests at Jantar Mantar. He welcomed this decision and called it a victory for the students’ struggle. Kejriwal said that students and the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) had been agitating for a long time demanding accountability in the NEET paper leak case. Congratulating the students and youth involved in the protest, he said that their peaceful struggle has borne fruit.

Stone pelting, lathi charge at Jantar Mantar: Cockroach Janata Party i.e. CJP has called for a nationwide protest today against the NEET paper leak and the non-resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradha. Delhi’s Jantar Mantar has once again become a battlefield between police and protesters. There was once again a clash between police and protesters on Tolstoy Marg adjacent to Jantar Mantar. Delhi High Court strict on SIR duty of teachers: The Delhi High Court has asked tough questions to the Election Commission (ECI) regarding the deployment of school teachers for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) work of the voter list. During the hearing, the court asked why the teachers of the state were engaged in this work, when their primary responsibility is to teach the students. A division bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Justice Tejas Karia asked the Election Commission whether it can take any decision on its own by citing Article 324 of the Constitution. 400 criminals seen around Jantar Mantar movement in 5 days: In a big disclosure, Delhi Police said that the presence of about 400 criminals was recorded between July 20 and 24 around the site of the ongoing Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar. According to sources, the police is now thoroughly investigating the activities and movements of these people. According to preliminary information, the investigating agencies are trying to find out whether these people had any role in the incidents of Parliament march, vandalism and violence that took place in New Delhi on July 20..
