Orai(Jalaun)- UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the public meeting organized at Sports Stadium Orai on Saturday and visited the exhibition and stalls of developmental schemes set up by various departments. In the program, the Chief Minister distributed approval letters, house keys, loan approval, solar rooftop approval, agricultural equipment, golden cards and other support materials to the beneficiaries of various schemes including Chief Minister Housing Scheme (Rural), Prime Minister Urban Housing Scheme, Prime Minister Swanidhi Yojana, Prime Minister Surya Ghar Yojana, Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department. Under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission, women empowerment and self-employment were given new strength by transferring CCL, RF and CIF funds of Rs 13 crore 14 lakh 30 thousand to the accounts of self-help groups.

By pressing the button, the Chief Minister gifted 374 development projects worth Rs 1273.96 crore to Jalaun district. Of these, the foundation stone of 216 projects was laid and 158 projects were inaugurated. These projects include many ambitious schemes to roads, drinking water, health, education, irrigation, electricity, urban development, police and revenue departments. The major development works which gained momentum in the program include new building of Orai Tehsil, Type-A and Type-B residential building in Police Line, 50 bedded Critical Care Unit in Medical College, Drinking Water Scheme of Municipality Kalpi, Green Energy Corridor, Strengthening of Rath-Kalpi-Madaripur road, widening of Orai-Itaura road, widening of roads connecting major religious places including Jalaun Devi Temple, Kalpi. Many important projects include building of fire station, NIC building in Orai tehsil campus, establishment of hi-tech nursery and sewage treatment plant.

While addressing the public meeting organized at the sports stadium, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of Jalaun district. Recalling Jalaun Mata Temple, Maa Sharda Temple in Bairagarh, the birthplace of Maharishi Vedvyas and the penance land of Rishi Jalwan, he said that this land has been a symbol of bravery, patriotism and self-respect. This land is a witness to the glorious history of the country to the struggles of Maharani Laxmibai, Tatya Tope and Nana Saheb Peshwa. The Chief Minister said that Kalpi’s handmade paper, world famous peas and local products have got national and international recognition through the ODOP scheme. He said that after getting the GI tag, Kalpi’s handmade paper is being exported to many countries including Australia, Canada, America, Germany and Japan, which is a matter of pride for Jalaun.

The Chief Minister said that at one time Bundelkhand was known due to drought, migration, ruggedness and bandit activities, but today due to the efforts of the double engine government, this region has become a new model of development. Bundelkhand Expressway, Jhansi Link Expressway, proposed industrial and logistics corridor, green energy corridor, solar energy projects and irrigation schemes have given a new direction to the entire region. He said that the country’s first solar expressway is being developed in Bundelkhand, which will pave the way for providing clean energy to about one lakh homes. The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to give Jalaun a new identity in the fields of industrial, agriculture and investment.

Employment will be provided at the local level to the youth through Industrial Manufacturing and Logistics Corridor, Future Ready Industrial Township, Data Center Cluster and MSME based industries, which will effectively stop migration. He said that revival of Noon River, construction of Amrit Sarovars, cow conservation, rural development, drinking water schemes and agriculture based projects have made Jalaun a district setting new standards of development. Referring to Rangoli Gram Panchayat, he said that it has become the first Gram Panchayat in the state which has set an excellent example of poverty alleviation by achieving the target of zero poverty. The Chief Minister said that the state government has given top priority to law and order. Strict action is being taken against mafia, organized crime and counterfeiting mafia. He said that now there are only two places left for the mafia in the state, jail or hell. Even the copying mafia will not be spared. Their property will be confiscated, provision is being made for jail up to 10 years and fine up to Rs 10 crore.

The Uttar Pradesh government has given Bundelkhand a new identity of development by removing it from the fear of dacoits and mafia. The Chief Minister said that earlier the movement of people in Bundelkhand would stop as soon as the evening came and the terror of dacoits would start. Today, the double engine government has strengthened the law and order system and connected the entire region to the mainstream of development. The country’s largest industrial area is being developed in Bundelkhand in an area of ​​56 thousand acres. Jalaun will play an important role in its connectivity. He said that projects like Jhansi Link Expressway, Defense Corridor, Future Ready Industrial Township and Data Center Cluster will create new employment opportunities for lakhs of youth. The state government has launched a strict campaign against organized crime and mafia. Till now, illegal assets worth more than Rs 600 crore have been seized. He said, ‘We had said that the mafia would be left in the ground and today they are being left in the ground. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has decided to bring a strict law against the copying mafia.

Anyone who plays with the future of students and youth will have to face jail for up to 10 years and a fine of up to Rs 10 crore. He said that action has been started in the NEET paper leak case. In the last 48 hours, 47 officers were dismissed, many people were sent to jail and investigation into their properties has started and the government will not spare any culprit in the NEET paper leak case. Be it our government or organizations, women are given priority. In this district, the District President of BJP is a woman, what could be a bigger example than this. Referring to the public welfare schemes run under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister said that there has been a massive change in the lives of the poor, farmers, women and youth through Digital India, Startup India, Standup India, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi and other schemes.

He said that self-reliant and developed Jalaun will become a strong foundation stone of self-reliant Uttar Pradesh and developed Uttar Pradesh will play an important role in building a developed India.
