Glasgow: India continued their impressive campaign in lawn bowls at the Commonwealth Games with with the women’s pairs team securing a dominant win over South Africa to register their second consecutive victory in the competition. The Indian duo of Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki Singh defeated the South African pair 2-0 (6-4, 7-5) in their second Section B match at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) Hall 3.

The win follows India’s tense opening match victory against Malta and places the team at the top of the Section B standings, strengthening their chances of progressing further in the tournament.
