Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu visits Nandamuri Balakrishna in hospital after successful knee surgery; enquires about recovery

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Nandamuri Balakrishna at the Hyderabad Hospital on Sunday. The Tollywood veteran is currently recovering after undergoing knee surgery following an injury he suffered during the shooting of his upcoming film, ‘ NBK111 ’ directed by Gopichand Malineni . The CM met the actor, spoke with the director and enquired about his health and recovery.
Chandrababu Naidu visits Balakrishna As per a report by IANS, CM N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Balakrishna at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) in Hyderabad, where the actor is receiving treatment. N. Chandrababu Naidu who is also Balakrishna’s brother-in-law, he enquired about his health and wished him a quick recovery. While meeting the director and the team, he discussed the actor’s treatment and rehabilitation plan.
Earlier, both Chandrababu Naidu and Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh had spoken to Balakrishna after he suffered the injury and wished him a quick recovery.
According to the hospital, the surgery lasted for more than three hours. During the operation, doctors removed the accumulated blood around the injured area, reattached the torn quadriceps tendon to the kneecap and repaired the damaged supporting tissues around the knee.
Balakrishna’s daughter update on his healthBalakrishna’s daughter, Nara Brahmani, also shared an update on his father through her Instagram post. “Update on Naana: Surgery was a complete success! He’s already back to his full energetic self and will be back in action very soon. Thank you all so much for the overwhelming love and prayers showered on him - we are truly indebted to everyone,” she wrote.
Balakrishna underwent successful surgeryFor the unversed, Nandamuri Balakrishna suffered the injury while filming an action sequence for ‘NBK111’. The following day, he was airlifted to Hyderabad after receiving initial treatment. Medical examinations found a tear in his left quadriceps tendon along with injuries to the supporting tissues around the knee.
After a complete medical evaluation, doctors decided that surgery was necessary. Balakrishna underwent the operation on July 23, and the hospital confirmed that the procedure was completed successfully without any complications.
