Union Minister of State Ramdas Athawale has made a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. He said that it is Rahul Gandhi’s job to blame PM Modi and Amit Shah, they will never come to power.
While talking to the media in Lucknow, Ramdas Athawale said that Rahul Gandhi keeps blaming Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. It is completely wrong to hold Amit Shah responsible for the lathicharge that took place during the march towards Parliament.
Athawale clarified, “When we break the barricade and move forward, the police resort to lathi charge. We ourselves have faced this many times. The job of the police is to take action. We do not support such action but it is wrong to blame Amit Shah. After all, these youth were our own people.”
On the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Athawale said that those who leaked papers and made irregularities in the examination system have brought bad name to the country and society. Strict action should be taken against such people. Pradhan resigned on the demand of the youth, which is a right step. Deserving candidates should get justice.
Regarding the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Ramdas Athawale expressed confidence that the environment is very favorable for NDA. “We (NDA) are confident of winning 250 to 275 or even more seats,” he said.
Commenting on the SP-Congress alliance, Athawale said that their alliance may continue but big dreams will not be fulfilled. SP-Congress will not get Dalit votes. Considering the possibility of 5-10 percent vote transfer to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), he said that he will talk to Yogi Adityanath and Amit Shah to include RPI in NDA.
Ramdas Athawale, remembering Kargil Vijay Diwas, said that the Kargil war will always be remembered. He praised the role of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and paid tribute to the martyred soldiers.
The Union Minister of State had reached the capital Lucknow on a one-day visit. Athawale said that our resolve is unwavering to spread the ideas of social justice, equality and fraternity of ‘Bharat Ratna’ Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar ji to the people and for the rights, respect and empowerment of the deprived, exploited and neglected classes.
