In this episode of ' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ', Subhash questions Karan about the argument he witnessed. Tulsi quickly clarifies that they are not fighting but merely having a discussion. She explains that since Vaishnavi has no parents, Gautam has taken responsibility for her wedding. Tulsi wants Karan to perform the fatherly rituals during the ceremony. Tulsi jokingly asks Karan not to get too excited, or Subhash will think they are actually fighting. She adds that all the children are simply eager to take responsibility. Confused, Subhash admits he can never understand the younger generation. Tulsi laughs and says she is always called in to settle such small disagreements.


Karan's playful argument with GautamKaran complains that Gautam is always arguing with him. Gautam playfully tells Karan to embrace his big break and think before speaking. He warns Karan that if he creates obstacles, he will reveal the truth to Subhash. Karan fires back that he will not spare him either. During the wedding activities, Tulsi surprises everyone by letting them know that during the wedding, Karan will perform the role of the father. Gautam is shocked as Subhash encourages Karan to take up the responsibility. With reluctance, Karan walks to the mandap and sits next to Vaishnavi. He puts flowers in the hands of Nakul and Vaishnavi, and the priest tells him what to do, and he does it. The family is happy to watch the emotional moment, though it is not the same with Karan, who is reluctant in his heart.
