Actor Vishal has shared fresh insights into his upcoming film ‘Magudam’, which also marks his first outing as a director. He revealed that he will portray three completely different characters in the project. According to Vishal, each role has its own unique personality, appearance and mannerisms. The film features him as a medical representative leading a middle-class life, a gangster, and an ardent admirer of music composer maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Explaining the film’s premise, Vishal said ‘Magudam’ focuses on a socially significant issue that many people may not be aware of. He expressed hope that the film would create public awareness in the same way ‘Irumbu Thirai’ highlighted concerns surrounding digital privacy and smartphone security. The film also stars Anjali and Dushara Vijayan in key roles, with performances from John Vijay, Jayaprakash, Ajay, Vamsi Krishna, Abu Salim, Arjai, VJ Jhansi, Padam Kumar and Sabumon. Music for the film has been composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
