New Delhi. There is ongoing controversy regarding paper leak cases in various competitive and entrance examinations including NEET. Meanwhile, in Gujarat’s prestigious Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, allegations of important questions or topics going viral before the examination have created a stir in the education world. BAMS 3rd Professional Year M.S. A serious case of some important question points going viral on WhatsApp just before the examination of (Surgical Tantra-1) subject has come to light. The university administration has constituted a special committee to impartially investigate the entire episode.

What is the whole matter?
On July 20, BAMS 3rd Professional Year M.S. The examination for the subject (Surgical Mechanism-1) was conducted. It is alleged that even before this examination, some important topics and points to questions had gone viral on WhatsApp.
11 out of 12 questions claimed to be a match: It is being claimed that there is a lot of similarity between the points that went viral on social media and the questions asked in the actual question paper. The discussion went viral to such an extent that out of total 12 important points, 11 questions were asked directly in the examination. After this revelation, the whole matter has taken a serious turn and big questions have been raised on the transparency of the examination.
Investigation committee formed after discussion with the Vice Chancellor

Controller of Examinations in-charge of Gujarat Ayurved University, H.P. Jhala (In-charge Controller of Examinations HP Jhala) said that on July 20, the examination was conducted peacefully in the morning at the scheduled time. However, in the evening, information was received through mobile phone that some important topics and questions were circulated on WhatsApp before the commencement of the examination. Immediately after receiving the information, an emergency meeting was held with the Vice Chancellor and a special investigation committee was formed to investigate the entire matter impartially.
Work of investigation committee and assurance of strict action
The special committee constituted by the university will investigate the viral messages, question paper, other documents to the examination and all aspects in detail and submit its report to the university administration. H.P. Jhala (HP Jhala) said on this matter that at present no final conclusion has been drawn. If any person’s involvement, violation of rules or any kind of irregularity is revealed during the investigation, then strictest action will be taken against the concerned people as per the rules of the University.
Eyes fixed on the investigation report
The university administration has clarified that at present the examinations of other subjects of the students of about 20 to 25 colleges affiliated to the university are going on as per the pre-determined schedule and no change has been made in their schedule. After the NEET controversy, now the fear of important questions going viral before the examination in Gujarat Ayurved University has once again raised questions on the credibility of the state’s examination system. At present, the eyes of students, parents and the entire education world are fixed on the report of the investigation committee of the university.
