Ever since Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi started sharing screen space, rumours about their relationship have refused to die down. Neither actor has ever confirmed dating each other, but the speculation has continued both on and off social media. Now, a fresh comment from Dheeraj Dhoopar after his exit from Lock Upp 2 has once again put their bond under the spotlight. During a media interaction, the actor casually referred to Shivangi as Harshad’s “girlfriend”, leaving many wondering if he accidentally confirmed what everyone has been speculating for months.

Speaking to Access TV after leavingLock Upp 2, Dheeraj Dhoopar was asked why he stayed away from unnecessary confrontations inside the house despite being targeted by several contestants. Replying to the question, Dheeraj said he never believed in picking fights just for the sake of creating drama. “I didn’t come here to play a game, I came here to change the game. I evicted Yogesh because I had the power. Akanksha Choudhary should have come and fought me. Harshad should have asked Shivangi to come and fight if I was the one who voted him out. If their girlfriends won’t come and fight me, I won’t go and force them to fight,” he said.

His remark immediately caught attention because he referred to Shivangi Joshi as Harshad Chopda’s girlfriend. When the interviewer further pointed out that Harshad looked “madly in love” with Shivangi, Dheeraj simply responded, “Toh woh jo dikh raha hai, wahi hoga phir.” Despite the comment, neither Harshad nor Shivangi has publicly confirmed being in a relationship. Both have consistently maintained that they are close friends.

Dheeraj also spoke about the recent controversy involving the note his family sent inside the Lock Upp 2 house. The issue surfaced after Riteish Deshmukh questioned whether Dheeraj had been given outside information through a “chit” during an emotional reunion with his son, Zayn. Later, Dheeraj’s wife, Vinny Arora, clarified the situation through a video. She said the note contained no strategy or game-related information.

“There was no outside information, no strategy, nothing like that. It was just a wife concerned about her husband,” Vinny explained. She added that she had only asked Dheeraj to signal if he wasn’t feeling well and encouraged him to play more actively if everything was fine. Calling it an emotional mistake, Vinny insisted there was no intention to break the rules of the show. While the chit controversy appears to have settled, Dheeraj’s latest remark has once again brought Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi back into conversation. Whether it was simply a casual reference or something more, neither actor has reacted to the statement so far.
