Hardik Pandya Trade with Chennai Super Kings: Before the next season of IPL, discussions have intensified in the trade market regarding Hardik Pandya. According to media reports, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is trying to include Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya in its team. However, no official confirmation has been given yet by both the franchises regarding this possible trade.
Two players and an offer of ₹10 crore!
According to reports, Chennai Super Kings have offered Dewald Brevis, Shivam Dubey and ₹10 crore in exchange for Hardik Pandya. On the other hand, some media reports claim that Mumbai Indians want to include Ayush Mhatre and Shivam Dubey in their team in exchange for Hardik. But Chennai does not seem to be in favor of releasing young batsman Ayush Mhatre, due to which the talks are said to be stuck at the moment.
Mumbai Indians are in no hurry
It is being told that Mumbai Indians are considering all the options before taking a final decision on any trade. The franchisee does not want to take any decision that may lead to losses in the future. Although Hardik Pandya is a big star player, his performance in the last few IPL seasons has not been as per expectations. In such a situation, Mumbai is carefully evaluating any possible deal.
KKR also joins the race
According to reports, if the trade between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians is not finalized, then Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may also try to add Hardik Pandya.
At present, all these claims have come out quoting media reports and sources. No official announcement has been made regarding this trade by Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings or IPL. Therefore, this should be viewed only as a possible trade discussion.
