Sikandar Raza's milestone in the third T20I against India was one he'd rather forget. The Zimbabwe captain was dismissed for a golden duck, falling to Yash Thakur in the fourth over of the chase, and in doing so, entered an unwanted record book.

The duck was Raza's seventh as T20I captain, the second-most in the format's history, behind only Australia's Aaron Finch, who has eight. Raza surpassed both Babar Azam and Rohit Sharma, who have six each, to claim that dubious distinction.

The dismissal itself was a sharp piece of work from Thakur. He bowled a short-of-length delivery that hurried onto Raza, who tried to work it to the leg side. The ball took the leading edge and looped back towards the bowler, who reacted brilliantly, moving to his left in his follow-through to complete a one-handed catch. The wicket also put Thakur on a hat-trick.

The duck also saw Raza level with Regis Chakabva for the most ducks by a Zimbabwe player in T20Is; both now have 11.

Earlier in the day, India had posted 192/5, powered by 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's classy 81 off 48 balls, his second T20I fifty. The youngster showcased his full range, including a 102-metre six off Raza himself. But for the Zimbabwe captain, it was a day to forget, as a golden duck and an unwanted record stole the spotlight.
