e-Shram Portale: E-Shram Portal is a very beneficial scheme of the government for those crores of laborers of the country who work in unorganized sector like farming, labor or small jobs. The Central Government has started this online website so that the complete information of all the working people of the country can be collected at one place, so that they can get the benefits of important schemes like government assistance, insurance and pension directly without any hassle. What is e-Shram Portal?

E-Shram Portal is a digital website created by the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Its main function is to collect information about all the unorganized laborers of the country at one place. Every laborer who registers on this portal gets a UAN, which becomes their permanent identity in the entire country.

Who is this portal for?

The benefit of this portal is available to all those people who work without any fixed salary or company. This includes household workers, daily wage laborers, house builders, street vendors, online delivery boys, small farmers and people doing small jobs on their own. There are some conditions for this, like the age of the worker should be between 16 to 59 years.

How to register on e-shram portal?

• Any laborer can fill the online form by visiting the official website of e-Shram.
• First of all, by going to the website, you will have to enter your mobile number which is linked to your Aadhar card.
• After entering the mobile number, an OTP will come on your phone, which will have to be entered on the website.
• After this you will have to fill important information like your address, PAN card and what work you do.
• After filling and submitting all the information, your e-Shram card will appear on the screen, which you can download.

What are the benefits of e-Shram Card?

• You do not get any cash immediately after getting the e-Shram Card, but it is very important for getting government help in future.
• The government has now linked this card with big government facilities like Ayushman Bharat, free insurance schemes, PM housing and free ration, so that in future the workers can easily get the benefits of all these schemes.
