Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the recruitment notification for 828 posts of Principal and Vice Principal.

There are 124 vacant posts of Principal and 704 vacant posts of Vice Principal in the NCT Education Department of Delhi Government.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to fill the application form through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal by August 14.

Important Dates:
Online Application Starts: 25th July
Last Date to Apply: 14th August
Combined Recruitment Test (CRT): 1st November
Interview: UPSC will announce separately

Eligibility Criteria:

Principal:

Candidate should have Master's degree + Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized University/Institute. 10 years teaching experience as Vice Principal/Post Graduate Teacher/Trained Graduate Teacher in a recognized school
UR/EWS: 50 years, OBC: 53 years, SC/ST: 55 years, Relaxation is applicable for eligible PwBD candidates as per rules.

Vice principal:

Candidates should have Master's Degree + Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized University/Institute.

2 years' experience as a postgraduate teacher or 3 years' experience as a trained graduate teacher in a recognized school.
UR/EWS: 35 years, OBC: 38 years, SC/ST: 40 years. Relaxations apply for eligible PwBD candidates as per rules.
