This arachnid sensation has the box office buzzing, with ₹24 crore reserved just for the grand opening day, while another ₹36 crore is earmarked for the next three days, making for an action-packed four-day opening weekend.

These presales figures are the second-largest ever achieved by a Hollywood film in India, second only to the blockbuster Avengers: Endgamewhich captivated audiences with around ₹90 crore in advance sales during its three-day opening weekend. For the past seven years, Endgame has stood unchallenged, with the nearest competitors barely reaching ₹40 crore.

If Spider-Man continues to soar at this pace, Brand New Day is projected to approach a staggering ₹85 crore by the end of Thursday, potentially toppling Endgame‘s mighty record.
