Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. will continue at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond the ongoing summer transfer window, according to the latest update from Sky Sports.
Even with strong media talk over the last few weeks linking the 26-year-old Brazil international with a huge move to Arsenal, Los Blancos have firmly shut the door on any possible transfer.
Although his contract situation has turned into a major talking point, the Spanish capital club have no intention at all of selling their star player under any circumstances.
The clear update has effectively ended a wave of growing rumours that had pointed to increasing uncertainty in Real Madrid’s attacking unit.
After a high-profile summer transfer window shaped largely by massive spending in the market, most notably the imminent arrival of Yan Diomande in a deal worth more than €100 million, speculation increased around a possible headline departure.

Arsenal have been given credit for genuine, concrete interest in Vinicius, hoping to take advantage of the fact that talks over his contract renewal had stalled.
However, newly returned head coach Jose Mourinho has been completely firm behind the scenes.
The manager has told Florentino Perez that keeping his superstar trio of Vinicius, Kylian Mbappe, and Jude Bellingham together is an absolute, non-negotiable priority for the coming domestic and European campaigns.
While Vinicius has entered a sensitive stage of his spell in Spain, with his current deal now in its final year, the hierarchy at the Bernabeu remains fully calm.

In fact, as per the report, Real Madrid officials are very confident that a full agreement on a new, long-term contract extension will be completed soon.
More face-to-face discussions have been lined up with the player’s representatives this week to settle the final financial details and put together a salary package that matches his elite status in world football.
The Real Madrid board is fully convinced of the Brazilian winger’s long-term commitment to the club, which means his future appears set to stay firmly tied to the Spanish capital despite the constant speculation.
