The Uttar Pradesh Constable recruitment examination was conducted on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam are now awaiting the results, which could be released at any moment. According to media reports, the results might be announced this week or during the first week of August.

The UP Police Constable Result 2026 will be released online on the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) website: uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates who clear the written exam by securing the prescribed cut-off marks will qualify for the next stage of recruitment: the physical test (PET-PST).

**Requirements for recruitment beyond passing the written exam**
Even after passing the written exam, some candidates may fail to clear the subsequent recruitment stage and thus miss out on the opportunity to be recruited.
It is important to note that candidates must meet specific minimum height requirements based on their category and gender to be eligible for the running test. Failure to meet the minimum height requirement will result in immediate disqualification from the recruitment process.

**Required height based on category**
For General, OBC, and SC categories, the minimum height requirement is 168 cm. Additionally, the chest measurement must be 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded).
For candidates belonging to the SC category, the minimum height is set at 160 cm; the chest measurement must be 77 cm (unexpanded) and 82 cm (expanded).

The minimum height for female candidates is set at 152 cm, while for female candidates belonging to the ST category, it is 147 cm.
Consequently, if your height is below these limits—even if you submitted an application form—you will be eliminated from the recruitment process at this stage.

**Requirements to pass the running test**
To pass the running test, male candidates must complete a 4.8 km run within 25 minutes. Female candidates must complete a 2.4 km run within 14 minutes.
