Ram Charan is recovering after undergoing wrist surgery in Coimbatore, following an injury on the sets of his last release, ‘Peddi’. After his procedure at the hospital, a picture of the actor smiling from his hospital bed is now circulating on the internet. Fans and followers are sharing their relief and happiness seeing their favourite star recover.

A picture of Ram Charan posing with the doctors while resting on the bed has been circulating on his social media fan pages. In the comment section, multiple fans wished him well, writing, “Get well soon from your illness, dear Charan brother.” Another added, “Really tough for an actor … Best wishes for the speedy recovery.. Get well soon.”

The hashtag #GetWellSoonRamCharan also started trending worldwide on X. His fan club shared that the actor has been advised eight weeks of bed rest. Ram Charan is currently recovering in Coimbatore with his family by his side. Chiranjeevi, Surekha and Upasana are all with him and are taking care of him during his recovery.

About Ram Charan’s procedureAccording to reports, the surgery was performed at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore by a team of doctors, including Dr Alessandro Badia and Dr Praveen Bharadwaj, under the leadership of Dr S. Rajasekharan.

Ram Charan reportedly injured his right wrist while filming an intense wrestling action sequence for ‘Peddi’. Even after the injury, he continued with the film’s promotions before deciding to undergo surgery. Later, doctors advised surgery after a detailed medical examination.

Ram Charan’s next filmFollowing the success of ‘Peddi’, Ram Charan will next work with renowned filmmaker Sukumar on the tentatively named ‘RC17’. The duo earlier worked together on the superhit ‘Rangasthalam,’ which was released in 2019.

‘RC17’ is currently in the pre-production stage.
