After this, in-charge Bhupesh Baghel reached Punjab and tried to convince them and then a meeting was held in Delhi. In the meeting, Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal tried to convince the Channi faction. The high command has given a message to Channi that the party is no longer in a mood for change and Channi should fulfill the responsibility given to him.

It is noteworthy that Channi is one of the prominent leaders of Punjab Congress. However, he lost the elections from both his seats in 2022 while being the CM and the Congress party also suffered a crushing defeat. After this the party made Raja Vading the head and since then he has remained the head of the state unit. Now before the elections, Channi wants that he should be made the head so that he can be considered a natural contender for the post of CM.

Meanwhile, the monsoon session of Parliament started and the ongoing political struggle in Punjab shifted to Delhi. Channi met KC Venugopal in Delhi. After this, there was an uproar regarding the NEET paper leak and the discussions were postponed. Both Channi and Wadding were seen with the high command and also played an important role in the demonstration outside the PM residence. After this, now that the matter has calmed down, the leaders of Punjab have once again become active in the politics of the state. Amidst all this a meeting took place in Delhi. KC Venugopal scolded Channi and Randhawa group but Channi also did not remain silent in this meeting. Channi also narrated a lot to KC Venugopal. After which KC Venugopal left the meeting and after some time Channi also left the meeting.

Channi is busy strengthening the group

Looking at Channi’s attitude, it seems that Channi is now in a cross mood. After the developments in Delhi, Channi has now again become active in Punjab. In Gurdaspur, all the leaders of his group including Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Rana Gurjit, Bharat Bhushan Ashu gathered at the house of MLA Pahada and they discussed about the preparations for the elections there. From which it is clear that Channi group has now started preparing for the elections but they are staying away from Raja Vading. In a public meeting, Channi said that only a few days are left for this government. If God gives strength then their account will be held at this place. Channi is not leaving any opportunity where he is not projecting himself as the CM face.

Some close friends of Wadding also attended the meeting held in Morinda. The name of the father of deceased Singhar Siddu was also included in these, who was counted among the people close to Raja Vading. Now the latest name in this list is of Anil Joshi who is considered to be a special person of Raja Wedding. Channi has shared a video on social media in which the focus is on Anil Joshi.

It is believed that all the leaders who are with Charanjit Singh Channi are with the Congress, that is, if Channi leaves the Congress, then those leaders will not support him. Now Channi is trying to show his group as united. In the reel shared on social media, Channi has said ‘Banda saadiya groups vich, khachch koi na’. Khachcha means a deceitful person, that is, Channi is giving a clear message that his group is united and no one is going to betray him.
