Mammootty's new film with Nithish Sahadev goes on floors; makers share BTS video from Karaikudi shoot

Malayalam superstar Mammootty is working on his next film with director Nithish Sahadev . Although the makers are yet to announce the movie’s title, the team has officially begun shooting in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. Recently the team shared a behind the scenes video of the film backed under Mammootty’s home banner.
Mammootty’s new film goes on floorsThe makers shared the update on social media and also released a behind-the-scenes video from the first day of shooting. Announcing the start of filming, the production house shared a message with fans. They wrote, “The wait is over! MammoottyKampany Production No. 9, directed by Nithish Sahadev, has officially gone on floors today in Karaikudi. Seeking all your love, blessings, and support as we embark on this exciting journey. Stay tuned for more updates!”
The makers also released a BTS clip that showed the team filming important scenes on the first day. Interestingly, the film’s shooting started on the same day that Mammootty's son and actor Dulquer Salmaan celebrated his birthday.
Earlier, the director shared, "Next padam with Mammookka. Directed by Myself. Written by - Anuraj Ob & Myself. Project Designer : Agnivesh Ranjith #Mammootty #MammoottyKampany #soonrolling."
More about the filmThe film was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony two weeks ago before the regular shoot began.
The untitled film is written by Anuraj OB and Nithish Sahadev, while Jimshi Khalid is handling the cinematography.
