NITTT 2026 Exam Schedule: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam schedule for the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) April-May 2026 semester. Candidates appearing for the exam can view the schedule details on the official website and download their admit cards. The NITTT online remote-proctored examination will be held on July 31, August 1, August 7, and August 8, 2026.

According to the official schedule released by the NTA, the NITTT exam will be conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will be held between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. As per the official notification, the NITTT program is designed to provide in-service training and strengthen the teaching skills of newly inducted teachers at institutions recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The training comprises continuous assessment through assignments and a final internet-based remote-proctored examination. Teachers are required to complete all stages of the program within three years to become eligible for probation confirmation and future promotions.

Candidates appearing for the NITTT April-May 2026 semester exam can download their admit cards from the official website, nittt.nta.ac.in. To access the hall ticket, candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth. Candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions provided on the admit card and adhere to the remote proctoring guidelines to avoid any issues during the examination.

The NITTT 2026 exam will be conducted exclusively in English.
It will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It will be conducted in an online remote-proctored mode.

Candidates appearing for the exam should keep certain points in mind. They must carry their NITTT 2026 admit card and a valid photo identity proof; candidates will not be permitted to take the test without these documents. Candidates are allowed to bring a transparent water bottle during the exam. A human proctor will monitor the exam live throughout the duration of the test.

If any suspicious activity is observed, the proctor may ask the candidate—via the chat window—to rotate their laptop or webcam to show their surroundings. Candidates should regularly check the chat window and adhere to all instructions provided by the proctor. Warning messages may appear on the screen if any suspicious behavior is detected. Failure to comply with instructions despite repeated warnings may result in the termination of the exam. Candidates are not permitted to keep any paper, notebooks, or other materials for rough work during the exam.
