In the global market, Audi Q9 has a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, which is equipped with 48V mild-hybrid technology. This powertrain generates 299 PS power and 630 Nm torque. It gets an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox and Audi’s signature ‘Quattro’ all-wheel drive system as standard. It is likely to be launched in the Indian market with a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine.

International deliveries of the Audi Q9 will begin in November 2026. It can be introduced in the Indian market during the first or second quarter of 2027 (March-June 2027). Its starting ex-showroom price is expected to be between ₹1.25 crore to ₹1.40 crore. After its launch in India, it will compete directly with full-size luxury SUVs like Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7.
