New Delhi: After being postponed last week, Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana trailer is now set to be unveiled on July 30, just a day ahead of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day release, with which the grand trailer is attached.

In a new marketing strategy, the makers will release the trailer at ‘Brahma Muhurat’ on Thursday.

Sharing the announcement, producer Namit Malhotra revealed that the trailer will be unveiled at 4:15 am IST.

Sharing the announcement, he wrote on Instagram, “At the auspicious Brahma Muhurat, we welcome the dawn of Ramayana with our trailer on 30th July 2026, Thursday, at 4:15 am IST worldwide.”

While most trailers release during a time when they expect the maximum viewers on social media, the makers of Ramayana is set to release at 4:15 am, when most Indians will be sound asleep.

While the timing seems odd, it is considered auspicious among Hindus. NDTV quoted Astrologer Silky Kukreja, who said that Brahma Muharat is the peaceful period of about 1.5 hours before sunrise and is considered a sacred pre-dawn hour dedicated to prayer, wisdom and communion with the divine.

Ramayana is a two-part big-screen adaptation of the Hindu epic, Ramayana. The film is scheduled to release in theatres globally on November 8, while the second part is slated to release around Diwali 2027.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Sunny Deol, Anupam Kher, and Lara Dutta, among others.
