Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni of the Ghattamaneni family is making his debut in the film industry with the latest release, ‘ Srinivasa Mangapuram ’. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi , the film also marks the Tollywood debut of young actress Rasha Thadani . As the film has released today on the big screens, internet users are sharing their first take after watching it. Let’s look at the early reception of the romance action drama.
Jaya Krishna earns praise for his debutMany viewers appreciated Jaya Krishna's performance and felt he made a confident start to his acting career. One reviewer wrote, "Surprises everyone with his performance in Srinivasa Mangapuram. Excellent Debut for him.!!"
Another user posted, “A familiar commercial entertainer that introduces #JaiKrishna as a promising mass hero. His performance is confident, while the action episodes and #GVPrakash's background score add energy throughout. Overall, a decent one-time watch.”
Another review said, “Sriniavasa Mangapuram is a very average mass film that is likely to appeal more to B and C center audiences to some extent than to urban viewers. While the film itself has little to offer, Jai Krishna can take away a decent debut performance. Director Ajay Bhupathi does well in what he is known for but falls short in delivering an overall impactful film.”
Story and screenplay receive criticismSeveral viewers felt the film followed a predictable story and lacked fresh ideas. One review read, “#SrinivasaMangapuram A routine and painfully predictable film that never offers anything new. You keep waiting for the story to surprise you, but it follows the same beaten to death path from start to finish. The screenplay is all over the place, writing is lazy, and the poorly placed songs only make the lack of a proper story more noticeable. Music is one aspect that works pretty well.”
Music gets appreciation despite mixed reviewsThe music of the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar . The music is getting appreciation despite mixed reviews. Another social media user shared, “Decent in a few first half scenes, but fails to deliver where it matters most in the second half. GV Prakash's BGM is solid, but the songs act as speed breakers. Overall, a routine flick with zero freshness.”
