Reflecting on the iconic sequence from the 1984 blockbuster Sharaabi, Jaya Prada shared fascinating details about how the timeless song was originally filmed on set by saying "This song is like film mein toh ekdum top mein hain. And you know, yeh gaana karne ke liye hum logon ko almost 10 days we took. Because yeh gaana actually bohot lamba tha and hume utna time laga yeh shoot karne mein. Iss gaane ko bohot achese and detail mein edit kiya tha and yeh song kaafi active hogaya. And you know, like ismein joh lyrics bhi hain, woh lyrics bhi bahut khoobsurat se likhi hui hain. And jab Amit ji Naulakha Haar dete hain, and he is expecting that woh haar pehan kar Meena (Jaya Pradha's characters name ) aayegi but time beet rahi hain and she is not coming to the function. Then the moment starts. And crescendo pe jiss tarah woh act hota hain. But also thanks to Kamal master as there are a lot of fast movements in the sequence but the music is slow, so because of Kamal Master it was possible for me to perform and thanks to Bapi Lehri for such lyrics."
