Zendaya swaps gothic glam for dreamy white couture at Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere

Zendaya has spent much of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day promotions leaning into dark, dramatic fashion. So, seeing her arrive in London in an ethereal white gown felt like a refreshing change of mood.
The actor stepped out at the film's London premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in a stunning creation by Tamara Ralph, trading her recent run of all-black looks for an ivory ensemble that looked straight out of a fairytale.
And, of course, there was a little Spider-Man detail hidden in the look.
Styled by Law Roach, the gown comes from Tamara Ralph's Fall 2026 Couture collection. It was only recently shown during Paris Couture Week in early July, making Zendaya's appearance one of its first major red-carpet outings.
The dress was all about shape and movement. Cut to hug her figure before opening into a dramatic mermaid skirt, it featured layers of ivory fabric that fell beautifully around her legs and extended into a sweeping train.
The bodice had a deep sweetheart neckline, adding a touch of drama to an otherwise dreamy look. But the real magic was in the details.
Gold baguette-shaped gems were scattered across the gown, catching the light as Zendaya moved. The embellishments also appeared on delicate, cape-like strands that fell from her shoulders and wrapped around her arms, giving the whole outfit an almost otherworldly quality.
It was glamorous, but not in an over-the-top way.
And because this is Zendaya we're talking about, the look came with a small nod to the film.

The actor and Roach have become known for their method dressing during major press tours, finding clever ways to weave elements of a movie into her outfits. This time, a tiny gold spider by designer Keren Wolf was pinned discreetly at the back of the gown.
It was easy to miss at first glance. But once spotted, it tied the entire look back to Spider-Man: Brand New Day without making the reference feel too obvious.
Zendaya kept the rest of her accessories elegant and understated, wearing Mouawad diamond earrings and rings that added just the right amount of sparkle.
Her beauty look followed the same soft, glamorous mood. She wore her hair long and loose, with centre-parted waves cascading down her back. Her makeup featured feathered brows, a fresh, dewy base and softly flushed cheeks, while a glossy mauve-pink lip added a hint of colour.
The result was very different from the dark, gothic mood she has been exploring throughout the film's promotional tour.
But that's exactly what made this London appearance stand out.
With Tom Holland by her side and the cameras flashing, Zendaya's ivory Tamara Ralph gown offered a softer take on her Spider-Man method dressing - one that felt romantic, elegant and just a little bit magical.
