Jared Leto denies sexual misconduct allegationsIn a statement given to The Hollywood Reporter, he completely denied the allegations and called them “categorically false”.
In the BBC documentary, the Oscar-winning actor was accused of sexual misconduct by 10 different women. One woman accused Jared Leto of sexually assaulting her in a motel bathroom when she was 17.
The second woman claimed that she was threatened by the actor with sexual assault when she was 19. The third woman described how she allegedly had sexual intercourse with the actor when she was 17, which would be classified as statutory rape. The fourth woman alleged that the actor made repeated sexually explicit phone calls to her and, on at least one occasion, suggested that they should have sexual intercourse.
All four women accused the actor and singer of making “strange and often very sexual” phone calls when they were younger.
Two men who worked with Jared Leto’s band ‘Thirty Seconds to Mars’ claimed that the staff felt uncomfortable with the way the actor would interact with teenage girls.
His former colleague, who once toured with him, reportedly revealed that the actor is “horrible” to work with behind the camera. He told Page Six, “He’s not a good guy. There’s no soul behind his eyes. He was a horrible vibe while working with him, and made people uncomfortable. It was really hard to talk to him, if her even tried to talk to us.”
