One of the legendary batsmen of Indian cricket and a well-known test specialist, Ajinkya Rahane, has announced his retirement from international cricket. Rahane had not played any international match for India in the last few years. In a way, he was out of the team, but now he has suddenly announced his retirement. He made this announcement through social media. Team India will soon play a Test series with Sri Lanka, for which the team has been announced. Rahane has not been included in this either. It is believed that after that Rahane gave up hope of a comeback and retired.
Ajinkya Rahane, who performed brilliantly in Test cricket for Team India, will no longer be seen in international cricket. Rahane played all three formats for India: Tests, ODIs and T20 Internationals, but his favourite format remained Test cricket, where he also led the Indian team in a few matches. He last played a match for India in 2023 and has been out of the team since then. He officially announced his retirement from the game in an Instagram post.
