Ahmedabad-based singer-songwriter and producer Brijesh Sarin has released his debut album, End of Teenage , a concept record that traces different stages of growing up through its music and lyrics.
The album opens with Afeem, a pop-rock track centred on the innocence of teenage crushes and school life. As the tracklist progresses, both the sound and themes shift to reflect experiences associated with adulthood, touching on anxiety, societal expectations, grief and self-discovery. Songs such as Gumshuda and Mayeri mark this transition through changes in both lyrical content and production.
The project also draws from different periods of Brijesh's life. Some tracks, including Bachpan, were written as early as 2012, making the album a compilation of material created over more than a decade.
Brijesh, an electronics engineer and founder of Oxygen Studios , handled every stage of the album's production himself. He wrote, composed, produced, mixed and mastered all the tracks independently.
Unlike releases built around standalone singles, End of Teenage has been structured as a sequential listening experience, with the order of the songs intended to mirror the emotional progression from adolescence to adulthood.
The album marks Brijesh's debut full-length release and brings together songs written across different phases of his life into a single narrative centred on growing up.
