On Friday, Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant participated in the inauguration of the national conference on 'Goan Architecture and Sustainability' held in the national capital. During the event, he emphasized the importance of promoting sustainable development while preserving Goa's architectural heritage. The conference was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, in the presence of Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade. Organized by the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC), the event brought together architects, planners, conservationists, engineers, policymakers, educators, and students to discuss sustainable development based on Goa's rich architectural traditions.

In a post on social media, Chief Minister Sawant expressed his happiness at attending the inaugural session and highlighted the significance of the conference. He noted that the 'National Conference on Goa Architecture and Sustainability' aimed to unite experts from various fields to discuss creating a sustainable future rooted in Goa's unique architectural heritage. The event was organized by GSIDC and inaugurated by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, with the presence of MP Sadanand Shet.
