After Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun, Jr NTR set to enter multiplex business in Hyderabad's IT hub Gachibowli: Report

Jr NTR is reportedly set to join the growing list of Tollywood stars investing in the exhibition business. According to industry reports, the RRR star is planning to launch a premium multiplex in Hyderabad's Gachibowli, following the footsteps of Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and other actors who have ventured into the cinema exhibition space. However, neither Jr NTR nor his team has officially confirmed the development.
Jr NTR to enter multiplex business buzzAccording to a report by media outlet Chitrajyothy, there are rumours that Jr NTR is expected to build a multiple in Gachibowli, one of Hyderabad’s fastest-growing areas. The location is surrounded by the Financial District, Nanakramguda and several IT companies. Thousands of professionals and families live in this part of the city.
Because of the growing population and increasing demand for entertainment, many believe that a luxury multiplex in this area could attract a large number of moviegoers. It is said that this is one of the reasons behind choosing the location.
However, it is imperative to mention that there has been no official announcement from Jr NTR or his team regarding the multiplex project.
Tollywood stars investing in multiplex businessWe have already seen Mahesh Babu as one of the first Telugu stars to enter this business with AMB Cinemas, which he launched with Asian Cinemas. The multiplex has become popular for its modern technology, excellent sound system and luxury experience.
Recently, Allu Arjun also opened AAA Cinemas and introduced another premium movie destination for audiences. Additionally, Ravi Teja and Vijay Deverakonda have also invested in the multiplex business.
What’s next for Jr NTR?Meanwhile, on the acting front, Jr NTR is busy with his upcoming action thriller, ‘Dragon,’ helmed by ‘KGF’ and ‘Salaar’ fame Prashanth Neel. In the epic drama, Jr NTR will be seen as Luger playing a feared assassin. It is set to hit the big screens on June 11, 2027.
After ‘Dragon,’ Jr NTR will be working with renowned filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas on a mythological action epic next.
