But did you know that Prahlad Joshi once made headlines for his unique style? We’re talking about December 11, 2025, when he arrived at Parliament in a very special car, surprising everyone present.

This wasn’t an ordinary car, but a state-of-the-art hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai. When Prahlad Joshi arrived at Parliament driving this car, everyone’s attention was riveted. The most remarkable feature of this car is that it runs on hydrogen fuel cell technology, not petrol or diesel, and it produces no pollution.

After arriving at Parliament, Prahlad Joshi told the media that this car is a major step towards the National Green Hydrogen Mission launched under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He also stated that an agreement has been signed between Toyota Kirloskar and the National Institute of Solar Energy to promote green hydrogen. He also stated that Mirai means “future.” This is a zero-emission vehicle that emits only water vapor during operation. This means it produces no smoke or contributes to air pollution. This is why it is being considered a major option for clean transportation in the future.

Regarding hydrogen cars, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also stated that such technology could help India become energy self-reliant. Green hydrogen and alternative fuels could prove crucial for the country in the future. Consequently, the discussion about this special car by new Education Minister Prahlad Joshi is once again in the headlines, demonstrating the direction India is moving in regarding future technology and clean energy.
