Recently, the Union Cabinet approved the continuation of this scheme until the year 2030-31. According to the scheme's established cycle, the next installment of ₹2,000 could be credited to farmers' accounts between November and December 2026. However, farmers must complete three essential tasks beforehand; otherwise, the installment could be delayed or withheld.

**When might the next installment arrive?**
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments. For each installment, ₹2,000 is transferred directly to the farmers' bank accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). As per the scheme, the first installment is released between April and July, the second between August and November, and the third between December and March. Following the release of the 23rd installment, the 24th installment is expected to be transferred to farmers' accounts between November and December 2026, in accordance with this cycle.

**Three essential tasks to complete**
If farmers wish to receive the next installment without any interruption, they must complete three necessary procedures on time. First, completing e-KYC is mandatory; this can be done via the PM Kisan portal using an Aadhaar OTP or by visiting a nearby CSC (Common Service Centre). Additionally, completing 'land seeding' on the government portal is compulsory. If the status shows "Land Seeding – No," the farmer must contact the concerned Tehsil office or Agriculture Officer. Furthermore, the bank account must be linked to Aadhaar, and the DBT facility must be active.

**How ​​to check your status**
Farmers wishing to know whether they will receive the next installment can check their beneficiary status on the PM Kisan portal. To do this, first visit the official website and select the "Know Your Status" option within the "Farmers Corner" section. Next, enter your registration number and the captcha code, then click on "Get Data." Subsequently, the status of e-KYC, land seeding, and bank-Aadhaar linking will appear on the screen. If "Yes" is displayed against all three, there will be no issues in receiving the next installment.

**Scheme Extended Until 2030-31**
