If the cut-off for those colleges exceeds your score, you will be eliminated from that round. Accurately assess your rank and keep a list of colleges ready as a safe backup.

2. Not reviewing choices before locking them
Carefully re-check your choices after filling them in. Students often select the wrong order of preference. Once you lock your choices, no further changes can be made. If you place a less-preferred college higher on the list, there is a possibility that it might be allotted to you. Therefore, complete this step with great care.

3. Submitting Fake or Incorrect Documents
Submitting fake certificates, incorrect category certificates, or duplicate documents during the verification process is a serious offense. Doing so will not only lead to the cancellation of your seat allotment but could also result in a ban of 3 to 5 years under strict anti-ragging and Medical Council regulations. 4. Misunderstanding 'Free Exit' Rules
Each round of NEET UG counseling has its own specific rules.
