Ram Mandir Trust Pramod Tiwari: Senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the BJP over the theft of donations at the Ram Temple. Tiwari stated that the theft of donations hasn’t occurred since the Ram Temple was built. The theft began at the Ram Temple from the Shila Pujan ceremony. “I don’t say that everyone in the BJP is a fund thief, but I say with great responsibility that all the fund thieves are in the BJP.”

Senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari also made controversial statements regarding PM Modi and his wife during a press conference. He stated that the truth is that the Ram Temple wasn’t built by the BJP, but rather, it was built after a Supreme Court order. At the time of the Ram Temple’s construction, there were Lok Sabha elections, and Narendra Modi loved the election more than the temple, so he performed the inauspicious act of consecrating an incomplete temple.

Why weren’t Shankaracharyas invited for the consecration ceremony?

Shankaracharyas weren’t invited for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, even though they should have performed the puja. Pramod Tiwari claimed that during the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, land was purchased for ₹2 crore and sold 10 minutes later for ₹18 crore. Seven major land deals were made during the construction of the Ram Temple, paying 17 times the circle rate.

The trust formed for the Ram Temple excluded saints and sages and included members of the BJP and RSS. Hundreds of crores of rupees were stolen during the construction of the Ram Temple; gold and silver were melted and sold, and the money was invested in the stock market. The faith of millions of people was robbed. We want strict action against those who tamper with people’s faith.

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi formed the Ram Temple Trust on the orders of the Supreme Court, who will take responsibility for the scam? I believe that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is responsible. If everything is fine, then why did Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, and Gopal Rao resign?

Theft began with the Shila Pujan.

When the movement to build the Ram Temple was underway, the slogan was, “Ram Lalla, we will come, we will build the temple there.” Then, when the BJP government came to power in UP, I asked when the temple would be built. The answer was, “When the BJP government comes to power at the Centre.” When Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government came to power at the Centre, I asked the same question again. The answer was, “Wait for now.” The truth is that the BJP never wanted the Ram Temple to be built in Ayodhya; it only wanted the Ram Temple issue.

Not only were offerings stolen from the Ram Temple, but the thefts began right from the time of the Shila Pujan. I myself am a resident of the Awadh region and served as the Tourism Minister in the Uttar Pradesh government between 1985 and 1990. I witnessed the Ram Janmabhoomi movement closely. I am not saying that everyone in the BJP is a “fund thief.” But all the “fund thieves” are in the BJP.
