Abhijeet Dipke News: Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP), is now under investigation. A Right to Information (RTI) activist from Surat has demanded an inquiry into the financial condition of Deepke’s father. Activist Amit Tiwari has raised the question of how he, despite being a retired employee of the Maharashtra government, raised the question of how he raised the funds required to send his son abroad for education. He has also demanded an inquiry from the Election Commission and the Tax Department into the ‘Legal Defense Fund’ of Rs 1 crore announced by senior advocate Kapil Sibal for protesters facing police cases.
What did Amit Tiwari say?
Raising questions about ‘Cockroach Janata Party’, Amit Tiwari asked how an organization can collect funds in the name of a political party. He said, “CJP is not a registered organization, yet it is working like a political party. Since it has announced to give Rs 1 crore for legal defense in the name of the party, the Election Commission should inquire whether ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ is registered or not.” Tiwari further said, “If CJP is not registered, then the act of collecting or accepting funds in the name of the party needs to be investigated.”
Sibal’s announcement
This RTI activist has requested the ‘Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs’ to examine whether GST is applicable on the contribution declared by Kapil Sibal for ‘Cockroach Janata Party’. It is noteworthy that on Monday, Kapil Sibal had announced a contribution of Rs 1 crore for the fund of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’. CJP had raised this fund to help the protesters arrested during the NEET paper leak controversy.
After Dharmendra Pradhan, will Gadkari’s number be required now?
Meanwhile, an important meeting of the party’s core committee will be held on Wednesday at the residence of CJP party founder Abhijit Deepke in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and this meeting is considered crucial to determine the future political and social role. It has been reported that about 15 to 20 prominent members from across the country will attend this meeting. It is also said that invitations and messages have been sent to the relevant members for the meeting. Since this is the first major organizational meeting of the party after the agitation at Jantar Mantar, it has attracted the attention of the political circles.
CJP’s strategy on national issues including E20 fuel
Meanwhile, in today’s meeting, there is a possibility of a detailed discussion on the party’s future policies, organizational expansion and the plan for upcoming agitations. There is talk in political circles that the party will take an aggressive stance especially on the issue of E20 fuel. Therefore, after the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, the question of what is Nitin Gadkari’s number now arises.
