Union Textile Minister Visits Historic Ghushmeshwar Temple in Maharashtra

On August 2, Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh visited the ancient Ghushmeshwar Temple located in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. This temple, situated near Ellora, is recognized as one of the oldest in the region and is considered the last of the 12 'Jyotirlingas'.


During his two-day visit to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Singh engaged in discussions with various stakeholders in the cotton sector regarding production, quality, and marketing strategies.


According to an official, the minister also participated in the 56th foundation day celebration of the Cotton Corporation of India, where he talked about modern farming techniques being adopted for cotton cultivation. Additionally, he visited the local office of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and held a meeting there.


Singh shared on social media, stating, 'During the sacred month of Shravan, I had the opportunity to visit the divine abode of Shri Ghushmeshwar Jyotirlinga Mahadev in Maharashtra, where I offered my prayers and received blessings from Lord Bholenath. I prayed for happiness, peace, good health, and prosperity for everyone.'
